Puratos is a pioneer in the production and application of emulsifiers for bakery applications. Thanks to 50 years of experience and continuous improvement, our current range responds to all the present needs of bakers and millers.

The Data Ester is the backbone of Puratos' standard improvers. Produced in-house since the late '50s and further optimized over time, Puratos' Data Esters continue to respond to the current needs of bakers and millers: optimal performance, free flowing product and stability under high pressure and temperature.

However, Puratos' range of bakery emulsifiers is larger than Data Ester alone. We also manufacture and apply distilled monoglycerides, SSL and CSL. In parallel, our researchers continue to optimize production processes to continue to make our emulsifiers even more versatile. In recent years, we have seen many synergistic opportunities arising from the combination of various types of emulsifiers.
