Puratos sponsors prize at 1st World of bread contest, taste and nutrition
At the SIRHA International Hotel Catering and Food Trade Exhibition to be held in Lyons, France, on January 20th and 21st 2007, 12 countries will compete in the 1st World of Bread contest, Taste & Nutrition which aims to show, through practical demonstration, the evolution and progress made in bakery art and technique as well as presenting new taste ideas and providing information on the nutritional properties of bread. Teams will represent Algeria, Argentina, Belgium, China, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Lebanon, South Korea, and Switzerland.

In one section of the contest, competitors will be asked to explain the nutritional properties of their various breads to a scientific jury composed of nutrition specialists and chefs.
